Book settling sessions
Our lovely Nursery Manager will contact you four weeks prior to your anticipated start date to discuss your child’s settling requirements. Various options are available, all uniquely tailored to your child. If your child has been to another nursery before for example, they may be happy to start on full days, however if not we can offer several hour-long stay and play sessions or whatever you require to both feel comfortable. Some parents opt to remain in the setting and read a book on the sofa while their child familiarises themselves with their new surroundings.
Many children thrive on a soft start, having the time and space to build a bond of trust with their key worker.
